(Photo by Sunthorn Pongpao)AYUTTHAYA: Three ancient Thai-style wooden buildings inside Wat Senasanaram Ratchavoraviharn in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya district of this former capital were damaged by a fire early on Sunday. Somsong Sappakosolkul, the mayor of Ayutthaya Municipality, said the fire broke out in one of the three buildings at about 6am. The Thai-style wooden buildings were more than 100 years old. The temple, situated in the historic city centre in tambon Hua Ro, was built in the Ayutthaya Period.
